About

A little more about me: In my own wellness journey, I have overcome a host of health issues, including multiple sclerosis, chronic fatigue and pain, nervous system dysregulation, and insomnia. Today, I am doing well and I am no longer struggling with debilitating health problems. I was able to do this through education, curiosity, and trust that my body could heal if it was given the right ingredients while spared of the bad ones.
It took some years to get to where I am but with time I have learned that being well does not have to be complicated. It does however ask that body, mind, and spirit have a respectful relationship with each other.

While recovering from my own health issues, I learned about the importance of nutrition, movement, and sleep when it comes to being healthy. Even though I was diligent about doing all the right things and health was slowly being re-established, one aspect that still seemed to be a struggle (and yes, I was fully aware of its importance) was sleep. I was meditating, trying every supplement on the block, and mastering sleep hygiene, and while I was gradually clocking in more sleep hours, peaceful sleep did not seem to come around. It was only when I started to loosen my control on sleep, giving it space to just be, that peaceful sleep started to come back to me and that my relationship with it started going back to a place where sleep and calm were no longer part of a battle.

Through my own journey, I have learned so much, thanks to education, trial and error, and experiential learning. I know all too well what a lonely place life with insomnia and fear can be. If you are struggling with issues like insomnia and would like to get back to a place of peaceful sleep, I would be happy to help you work through the clutter and get you back to a place of normalcy with sleep, and consequently with life. Please get in touch with me and we can set up a quick meeting to see how you might benefit from working with me
